Andrey Shamilov

I came into wedding photography after I gained decades of experience as a photo-journalist in a local daily newspaper and as a portrait photo-artist in one of the city's major studio.

As a photo-journalist in a newspaper, I learned to work under pressure with the time-sensitive material.  As a portrait photo-artist in a studio, I was able to further master my professional skills by learning to be very meticulous and thorough in my work. These qualities are very critical in wedding photography.  My journalistic experience taught me how to capture those memorable and incredible moments of my clients' most important events of their lifetimes.

As a former studio photo-artist, I know how to best use light, background and special techniques to create that perfect picture.

Nothing gives me more satisfaction than to see my clients happy with the results of my work.  And when they look at the pictures with a smile, some even drop a tear or two, and they say a sincere and heartfelt "Thank you!", then I know I have touched their hearts that through my work.  These moments are the most rewarding part of my profession.
